http://ontario-ringette.com/administration/documents/M-F-07.pdf Mar 7, 2013, 4:12 pm Hello Ringette parents, This email marks the official launch of Spring MacGregor Meats & Seafood Fundraiser and BBQ Season. All of the information you need is here, if you have another parent volunteer for your team that will be handling this campaign, please advise and pass this along to them. Thanks. We encourage you to support this initiative as it’s our final fundraiser of the year and with the money that we raise it helps us with next years expenses eg: ice time increases every year and we don’t increase our enrolment fee as we want to make sure everyone can afford to play but we can’t do it without your help in fundraising. It proved to be a very successful fundraiser last season with lots of positive feedback. This is a great opportunity for families to stock their freezers with some fantastic and convenient food and earn money for our association at the same time. All orders are due no later than Wednesday March 27th.
Order Pick-Up will be in the parking lot at the Magna Centre on Tuesday April 9th at 6:30.
******************************************** Participation is EASY...Here's how!!!
STEP 1: Sell, sell, sell the Macgregor products to friends and family. We do not recommend going door-to-door. All of the information about these great products is contained in the attached PDF files, labelled Product Information and feature sheet. Complete a Seller's Order Form for each customer you sell to. Be sure to collect the payment from your customer when they order. Cheques should be made out to NDRA. STEP 2: Add up all of your orders and complete a Seller's Order Form for the total of all of your orders. STEP 3: Submit your summary Seller's Order Form with all of your payments to your coach, (or the parent coordinating this fundraiser for your team). EXTRA STEP FOR COACHES/FUNDRAISING COORDINATORS: Add up the summary Seller's Order Forms submitted by each of your players and complete a Summary Order Form for your team. Submit all of this paperwork and payments to me no later than Wednesday March 27th. I am at the Magna Centre every Tuesday and Wednesday evening during practices.
STEP 4: Pick up your order at the Magna Centre on Tuesday April 9thth at 6:30. You are taking all of the products ordered by you and your customers.
STEP 5: Deliver the products to your customers.
Sometimes families tell us they support our fundraising efforts, but “would rather just write a cheque, instead of having to sell something”. If you are one of those families, we will happily accept a cheque for $30/player, (the average proceeds on 3 boxes). If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks everyone and Happy Selling!!!

Feb 19, 2013, 5:02 pm Wow, what a tournament! We would like to thank everyone that stepped up this weekend to make our tournament a success. We couldn’t have done it without each of you. Our raffle table was a success because of YOUR donations, we had 32 beautiful baskets and we received many compliments on the variety we had.
We had players coming out from their games saying “we want to help!” A special thank you to Courtney and Sydney 2 very cute little girls who sold their heart out, people couldn’t say NO to them!
Thank you to everyone who asked their companies, friends and families for donations as it made a difference this year, it was a nice added touch to have free chocolate for all players when coming out of a game and needing a little sugar rush.
To all the volunteers from raffle table/registration room to off ice to referees thank you we couldn’t have done it with out you!

The 6th Annual Newmarket Ringette Ignite The Ice Tournament has come to a close and was an incredibly successful weekend with so Feb 18, 2013, 7:25 pm The 6th Annual Newmarket Ringette Ignite The Ice Tournament has come to a close and was an incredibly successful weekend with some great ringette played! With 60 teams and 115 games this was our biggest tournament to date!
I would like to thank the Tournament Committee, and the Newmarket Ringette Executive for all the hours they put in, both before the tournament as well as during the tournament to ensure the tournament was a successful one.
Every player who played, every parent who cheered on all the newmarket teams, all our student, parent, and player volunteers who helped at the raffle table, in the registration room, and those who were thrown into doing the shot clock and time clock and timesheet for the first time, and those who were in the timeclock box trying to stay warm for too many games to count this tournament would not have been what it was without you.
What an exciting opportunity it was for so many of us to interact with the Finland teams and players.
It was great to see so many Newmarket Ringette players and parents return to the rink to watch the final U16A and U16AA games and cheer on our Finnish Friends.
A special thank you also to all the billeting families that made sure the Finnish girls were fed and arrived at the arena on time.
